Police are investigating a murder in southeast Bakersfield.

On Saturday around 12:50 p.m., officers responded to calls of a shooting in the 2100 block of Lotus Lane.

When officers arrived they found an adult victim with major injuries.

BPD says the victim was taken to Kern Medical where he later died. No other information has been released.
