Trial will proceed against a man accused of starting a fire at an Amazon distribution center in Bakersfield.

A judge on Tuesday found sufficient evidence for the case to proceed against Monty Goree, 26, on arson charges after the fire on the fourth floor of the center on Petrol Road November 24.

Court documents indicate surveillance video captured Goree trying to set fire twice to pallets containing merchandise.

A trial date will be set next week.
