Trial has been set for May 5, 2025, for a Bakersfield woman accused of driving with a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit when she crashed her car.

Brittney Cheema, 25, has three prior DUI convictions and now faces a fourth with two felony DUI counts, a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license and an infraction for operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .01% or higher while on probation for DUI.

Authorities say Cheema performed poorly on field sobriety tests and admitted to drinking alcohol after she crashed on February 25, 2025.
