A teacher with the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District has been arrested for alleged child sex crimes.

Kimberly Tull, 45, was arrested April 2, 2025, on suspicion of engaging in lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14.

The Bakersfield Police Department says Tull is no longer in custody. Charges had not been filed against her as of Tuesday afternoon.

A spokesperson with the school district says parents were alerted but says Tull’s arrest is not connected to her employment.
