A judge has extended a restraining order through October 8, 2025, against a former Kern County sheriff’s deputy.

Deputy Carly Snow says ex-deputy Stephen Wells showed up drunk at her home and tried to force himself on her after they broke up in 2018.

Snow is suing the county, claiming she faced years of harassment and retaliation from other deputies.

Wells is also charged with raping another sheriff’s employee last year.

He’s due in court later this month.
