A Shafter man has been arrested in San Diego County on suspicion of child sexual assault.

Shafter police say they became aware of the alleged sexual assault that took place in January allegedly involving a minor and Guillermo Lopez, 37, who was apprehended February 18, 2025, on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts, domestic violence, possession of child sexual abuse material and preventing a victim from reporting a crime.
