Police are looking for two people who attempted to steal items from the Target store on Mall View Road in northeast Bakersfield.
It happened just before 6:20 p.m. on April 11. The merchandise was recovered from a purse after a struggle with store employees, according to a Bakersfield Police Department press release.
One suspect is described as a 6-foot-1, 170-pound male in his 30s with dark hair and multiple tattoos on his face. He was wearing a gray baseball cap, a black “Cali” shirt and black pants at the time of the incident.
The other suspect is described as a 5-foot-2, 110-pound female with black hair. She was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, a royal blue undershirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident, and was carrying a black purse.
