An on-duty Bakersfield police officer busted his nose and cut his forehead in a two-car crash at South Real and Wilson roads.

Officer Adrian McCullum was briefly hospitalized after the wreck with 20-year-old Marlayna Hunter, which happened early Thursday.

The cause of the crash isn’t known, and BPD is investigating the collision.
