A man accused of shooting an Arvin police officer has been convicted of attempted murder.

24-year-old Orlando Valdovinos was also found guilty on two other charges Tuesday. Valdovinos shot Jeffrey Packebush in the shoulder as he entered a Bear Mountain Boulevard apartment last December.
