A man serving an 11-year federal drug sentence has been given an additional year in prison for trying to smuggle a half-ounce of spice into the Taft Correctional Facility.

42-year-old Trey Harris worked with his brother to get the synthetic drug into the jail between December 2012 and April 2013.
