Police are asking for help finding a man who burglarized a residence near downtown Bakersfield.

They say he broke into the home on San Emidio Street at around 3 a.m. on June 4, stole property then fled after being confronted by the homeowner.

Police say the man is in his 20s and has a medium build and black hair.
