A Bakersfield man who shot his grandmother in the face with a rifle has been sentenced to 40-years-to-life in prison.
Deputy District Attorney Kim Richardson says 21-year-old Dylan McNabb was high on bath salts when he killed 78-year-old Imogen McNabb at a home on Mohican Drive and Bronco Avenue in 2013.
“Now, whether they took that into consideration – it’s hard to me to say, as far as a jury goes,” she said. “I believe they came to a correct decision.”
That same jury convicted Dylan McNabb of second-degree murder last month.
