Bakersfield Police are giving people one last chance to clear up old warrants without fear of arrest, or to check if there are any warrants in the first place. Fifty-six people were able to clear their paperwork or get court dates at Thursday’s first Clear Up Your Warrant Day, with a second event held today at Patriots Park on New Stine Road. The final event is Wednesday at MLK Park. The warrants must be for non-violent offenses. Call BPD for more details, 661-327-7111.
