Kern County arson investigators are looking for the cause of an early morning fire that caused major damage to the two-story viewing tower at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in McFarland. The call came in just before 3:30 today and crews had to shuttle water to the site from the canal along Hwy 99 and SR 46. Damage to the Famoso tower is estimated at $50-thousand.
