Bakersfield police are looking for the driver who hit a pedestrian and sped off.

The injured man was found after 1:00 Thursday morning lying in the middle of Monitor Street near Nicki Court in southeast Bakersfield. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical but in stable condition.

Police have no suspect information.
