Bakersfield pediatrician Christie Yee plead no contest Friday to child abuse.The children’s doctor was charged with leaving her two small children in a car while she saw patients in her office last month. According to her attorney, Alekxia Torres, Yee will have to complete 26 weeks of parental training and the charges would then be dismissed. The 2-year-old boy and 9-month-old girl were taken into protective custody but have since been returned to the parents.
