The woman who was struck and killed in south Bakersfield has been identified. The coroner says 67-year-old Marie Meza Aguirre was crossing Cottonwood Road just south of Planz Road around 8:30 last night when she was struck and killed. The driver stayed at the scene and no charges are expected.
