The High Speed Rail Authority has agreed to contribute $10-million towards Wasco’s farm worker housing relocation project. The plan is to build homes for 200 farm families in another part of town as current housing is in the path of bullet train. The total cost of the relocation project is nearly $50-million and should be ready for move-in within two years.
