Two local men are facing the law on charges of child pornography. An Arvin man has pled guilty in federal court on child pornography charges. 27-year-old Brian Caputo posed as a young girl on social media over the course of 6 years threatening victims that he would post nude pictures of their friends unless they sent him explicit photos. Caputo faces up to 20 years in prison when he’s sentenced in August. Meanwhile, A Bakersfield man has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for possession of child pornography that federal prosecutors described as including violent and sadistic images of young children. 58-year-old Ralph Dale Shepherd was sentenced Monday in Fresno after investigators found hundreds of images on his cell phone.
