The Bakersfield Fire Department is prepping for the upcoming wildfire season with a live training Tuesday morning.

It starts at 10:30 on Casa Loma Drive just east of Cottonwood Road and smoke will be visible during the exercise. Firefighters want to see how ready they are to respond to a wildfire emergency.
