Kern County Fire got help from San Luis Obispo County and Kings County firefighters to put out a blaze near State Route 41. The fire broke out in a watershed around 2:45 Saturday afternoon and had already burned grass and chaparral when crews arrived. Firefighters were on scene throughout Sunday night to put out the last hotspots.
