Lake Isabella is getting ready for Fourth of July fireworks.The Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce says they talked about calling off the fireworks because of the Erskine Fire but determined people in the Lake Isabella community could use some patriotic celebration. Saturday’s display will be over the lake and follows a festival at Kissack Park. The Chamber said the real challenge for businesses after the fire has been the power being out but those that focus on tourism are all up, running and ready to welcome visitors.
