The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with a popular social media site.The point is to better communicate with the public. Commander Tyson Davis says they are now on NextDoor.com which is a web site connecting people within a specific neighborhood where they can share information about what’s going on in the immediate area. Davis says more 235 neighborhoods in Kern County are now on NextDoor and he encourages people to join their free, local page.
