Donald Trump made a quick stop in Tulare to scoop up campaign cash at a private event. The political meeting was hosted by a prominent pistachio grower. Tuesday afternoon’s one-hour fundraiser raked in $1.3 million from about 250 supporters according to Tulare Congressman Devin Nunes who helped organize the gathering at the home of farmer Corky Anderson. Among those on hand was former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
