As many as 7,000 people came to Cal State Bakersfield to hear from politicians and celebrities during the 2016 Bakersfield Business Conference. Donald Trump was the hot topic at Saturday’s event with most speakers supporting the Republican presidential candidate. A minority, including some Republicans, told the audience he is bad for the country.

Saturday’s conference also featured non-political speeches from former Olympians and actresses Diane Keaton and Vickie Lawrence.
