One of Bakersfield’s most famous manufacturing products is being recalled for possible listeria contamination. Nestle is recalling ice cream Drumsticks made at the factory on District Boulevard in southwest Bakersfield and County Public Health says some product has found its way to local store shelves. Those boxes are to be removed as soon as the retailers are identified. Nestle says the ice cream Drumsticks being recalled are in the vanilla 16 and 24 count packages with “best if used by” dates in June of 2017. No illnesses have been reported so far.
