Cal State Bakersfield is hosting a celebration of local history as Kern County’s 150th anniversary year winds down. There will be a long list of free presentations from 8:00a.m. to noon Saturday at the Stiern Library on campus.

A 90 minute walking tour of downtown is part of the celebration. That starts at the Padre Hotel at 2:00p.m.
