A new star is shining on Bakersfield’s “Walk of Stars” in front of the Historic Fox Theater downtown. Msgr. Craig Harrison saw his star unveiled Saturday honoring him among the city’s all-time leading citizens because of his years of work throughout the community.

The Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church grew up in Bakersfield, and the star was a gift to him from the Fox Theater Foundation and his seven adopted children.

His star is right next to the one for Buck Owens.
