The Hosking Avenue bridge over Highway 99 is being officially dedicated Friday morning to fallen Bakersfield Police officer David Nelson. The public is invited to attend the 10:00 ceremony at the Bakersfield City Firefighter’s Hall on Wible Road.

Nelson died in a high speed chase last year.
