A Bakersfield sex offender faces life without parole after being convicted of breaking into a home.The man was found guilty of trying to force himself on a 12-year-old girl, who was able to escape. 46-year-old Terry Eugene Ball was found guilty Thursday to one count of a lewd and lascivious act and will be sentenced next month. Ball was also convicted of a sex crime in 2003.
