Mark Nations has been named interim County Counsel for following last week’s sudden departure of Teresa Goldner. Nations has been the assistant for the past two years and was a top deputy assistant before that for ten years. Supervisors voted on the appointment Tuesday while the required search for a permanent replacement is underway. When Board Chairman Mick Gleason announced the appointment and congratulated Nations, he responded dryly with a “No comment.”
