City arson investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire in two travel trailers that caused about $10,000 damage and killed a dog.

It happened after 1 a.m. Wednesday near South Union Avenue and East Casa Loma Drive in southeast Bakersfield.

No injuries were reported.
