A group of shelter dogs from Taft have been flown to the Pacific Northwest to be adopted into new homes.

Wings of Rescue filled a plane with small- and medium-sized dogs from Unity Thrift of Taft and Marley’s Mutts from Meadows Field this morning in order to reduce the population at the shelters.

Another flight to New York City is scheduled for Thursday.
