Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 67-year-old man on suspicion of murdering his employee’s husband in Ridgecrest.

They say the men got into an argument Saturday at Cameo Kennels when Phillip Norwood opened fire and a search of his house turned up a loaded gun. It’s not clear why Norwood and the victim were fighting.
