Cal State Bakersfield is becoming a smoke and tobacco free campus starting next month, following a system-wide CSU executive order. Spokesperson Veronica Catalan says the university had limited smoking to designated locations that were at least 20 feet away from buildings. The new policy that includes e-cigarettes, vapor devices, and other like products, begins September 1st.
