KERN COUNTY MAKES HALLOWEEN SAFE

Organizations across Kern County are putting on “Safe Halloween” events to give kids a secure place to trick or treat.

McFarland Police are hosting a free one outside their headquarters Monday night at 6:00, and Chief Scot Kimble thinks it is also a chance for them to get to know the community better.

Tehachapi will host the free Trunk or Treat event on October 31st from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Main Street.

The Kern County Museum is selling tickets for their event, which takes place on Monday and Tuesday from 5:00-9:00p.m.
