The CHP says one of their officers was involved in a shooting while serving a warrant during one of several raids around Bakersfield targeting the West Side Crips gang.

Officer Robert Rodriguez says another officer returned fire after they were shot at around 6:00 Tuesday morning at a home on Beverly Drive and Potomac Avenue.

Rodriguez says three people left on their own, but two SWAT teams had to get the fourth suspect out after he barricaded himself inside. No one was hurt during the incident.
