Construction on California’s High Speed Rail project is forcing some closures in Wasco. The High Speed Rail Authority says the eastbound shoulders of Pond Road are closing between Magnolia and Palm avenues. The utility work that ties into nearly two-dozen miles of the rail is expected to last until March 1st.
