A member of a prominent local family has been sentenced to 90 days of jail-work-release for a DUI crash that killed a woman who was also intoxicated. John Giumarra the Third could have gotten a year for his no contest plea to three misdemeanors because he left the scene and has a history of DUI arrests. Angela Holder was outside the crosswalk when she was hit last year on Golden State Avenue and F Street in central Bakersfield. Giumarra must also perform 100 hours of community service.
