A weekend standoff ends with an arrest in southwest Bakersfield, although BPD has not identified the suspect as yet. The incident began Saturday afternoon around 3:30 on Phaffle Drive near Akers and Wilson roads, and news video shows police SWAT being deployed, along with a drone. Sheriffs deputies were also at the scene. It’s not clear why the suspect was wanted.
