HIGHWAY 46 “BLOOD ALLEY” WIDENING PROJECT COMPLETED

The completion of the State Route 46 Widening Project was celebrated with a ribbon cutting hosted by CalTrans, in an area long known as Blood Alley. Spokesman Christian Lukens says many speakers representing Kern County showed up to the Monday morning ceremony.

The project cost about $130,000,000 and took over six-years to complete.
