Bakersfield Police have arrested a 24-year-old man for reckless driving in a residential neighborhood, amidst a rise in reports of reckless driving. BPD Sergeant Eric Celedon says multiple phone calls were made Sunday night for reports of dangerous drivers near the Mesa Marin Sports Complex.

Andy Reyes was booked into Lerdo Jail. Officers also attempted to stop another vehicle but ended the pursuit when it was deemed a risk to public safety.
