MAN GETS 50 YEARS TO LIFE FOR FATAL BAKERSFIELD SHOOTING

A man found guilty of murder in central Bakersfield will spend the rest of his life in prison. Forty-six-year-old Ira Kindle was sentenced on Tuesday after being found guilty of first-degree murder in the March 2023 shooting of 37-year-old Christopher Pudwill outside the Family Food Market on 34th Street. Kindle obtained a gun from co-defendant 36-year-old Keith Hamilton, who then fired eight shots at Pudwill. Hamilton was convicted of second-degree murder.
