The California Highway Patrol in Visalia reports a fatal single-vehicle crash that involved a man from Bakersfield. The man identified as a 27-year-old died early Saturday morning during a wreck on Highway 99 near Avenue 96 in Pixley. Officers say his Honda drifted to the right and onto the shoulder where it struck a Eucalyptus tree. The victim was ejected from the car. Anyone who may have seen the accident is urged to contact the CHP Visalia office.
