Valley Crime Stoppers and state prison officials are offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a convicted killer who escaped from custody in Delano. Cesar Hernandez, 34, bolted from the parking lot of the Kern County courthouse on Jefferson Street as state prison guards were taking him inside the building December 2nd and hasn’t been seen since. Hernandez was serving a life sentence at Kern Valley State Prison for shooting Edgar Vasquez in the head in Lynwood in 2018.
