An Arvin man has admitted to sexually assaulting a neighbor’s dog. Court documents indicate Jose Flores-Chavez, 40, told police he hopped a fence and entered the neighbor’s yard to retrieve a soccer ball on December 4 and became aroused when he spotted the animal. He reportedly told authorities he touched the Cane Corso and began fondling himself. He faces charges including sexual assault on an animal and trespassing and goes to court January 7. A veterinary examination revealed the dog was uninjured and showed no signs of sexual abuse.
